- We offer dental care for the entire family including your little kiddos. We recommend every child be seen by around age 1 for their first dental exam. We want to make sure everyone has a great experience in our office and that is especially true for the kids we see. We know going to the dentist as a young child can be overwhelming, emotional, and even scary. We do everything we can to make it a great experience including letting your child pick their favorite show to watch on Netflix or Disney Plus, take the time to show them the tools we use and explain what we are doing, and pick out a toy to go home with at the end of the appointment.
- If your child has a stuffed animal or blanket that helps them be more comfortable feel free to bring it. Whatever can help make the experience a positive one. For the first visit we will attempt to complete a full exam, but we will limit the exam if it helps the child have a better experience. If in the rare situation we are unable to provide the adequate evaluation or treatment for your child we work with wonderful specialty Pediatric Dentists we can refer your child to. At Firefly Family Dentistry we take pride in taking care of your entire family.
