Dr. Sandberg moved to Wisconsin in 2010 after completing Dental School at Oregon Health and Sciences University. He moved to Wisconsin for additional training in Surgery and completed a 1 year internship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. During that year Dr. Sandberg rotated and treated patients at Froedtert Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, and the Milwaukee VA. At the end of his internship the VA asked Dr. Sandberg to return and work part time with their Oral Surgery team. Since 2012 Dr. Sandberg has been fortunate to be able to provide Dental Care to our Veterans and the Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee.

Many of the patients Dr. Sandberg treats are victims of PTSD as well as drug and alcohol abuse and are seeking their treatment through the VA. Dr. Sandberg also helps the Dental Residents in training at the VA gain experience in Oral Surgery. Dr. Sandberg has a special place in his heart for Veterans as his Great Grandfather served in WWI, Grandfather served in WWII and his Uncle served in the Vietnam War.
